I'm trying to compile a FAQ list of sorts here. Feel free to make suggestions or ask questions!

User titles
This board includes a system of user titles that are based on the number of posts made. The titles are currently the following:

* nameless the dog-boy (Minimum Posts: 0)
* newboy (Minimum Posts: 1)
* fitz (Minimum Posts: 50)
* changer (Minimum Posts: 100)
* catalyst (Minimum Posts: 250)
* beloved (Minimum Posts: 750)

wikifying links
You can link to articles in the PlentyWiki simply by using [ [ and ] ] around the appropriate article name within your message text like you would in the wiki itself. For example: I really like [[Burrich]] but I do feel for poor [[Fitz]] whenever he's being too strict with him.

spoilers

If you're mentioning something that you think might spoil the plot (for example you compare Fitz and Nevare in a topic that is not in a Soldier Son-related thread) you can use the spoiler tag.

You can either write

Oh, it looks like I had forgotten to update the list, it wasn't the same the system actually uses. There's now a title for reaching 100 posts as well!

[attachment=43] Maybe this attachment will help with learning how to use quotes when replying to someone else's post, especially with the screen shots? I am specifically thinking of Rendezvous but others may also benefit? Of course, this is how I do the 'box thing' but someone else may have a different approach!

Just bumping this thread as it may prove helpful for some of our newer members.

It's possibly time to start thinking about a nickname for those who reach 1000 posts also?

Keppet...nice! Farseer could work also? Given that *Farseer/TM spoiler* I added a spoiler tag for you also Foolish, just in case someone new to the forum comes into the thread having only read LST and RWC or something (as sometimes happens), but I'm not sure if I covered enough?

Everyone, please feel free to tell me if you think I'm over-doing this spoiler thingy (!), especially as we no doubt do have spoilers all over the place already. Also, if you see one that makes you go , let me know and I can fix it.

Sacrifice? Oh, yes. Yes. *nods* I do like that.

What do you all think? Do we need only one to acknowledge 1000 or should it continue beyond that eg say, Farseer for 1000, Keppet for 1250, Sacrifice for 1500 (though not necessarily with those names or in that order)? Just thinking as Nuytsia has already reached 1008.

I'll PM Mervi about it, though she is really busy at present. As far as I can tell, I have the ability to change someone's nickname but only through tweaking a user's individual profile eg I could go into Nuytsia's profile and change it but that's about it.
