As joost has said in the past, it's all relative, isn't it? At around 650kms, I'd have said that I was pretty close. Big Grin

Well, I don't think it's ready for me to divulge here quite yet, as the news has still not seemed to have made the full transition from "secret rumour" to 'confirmed reality or truth' but if you were to swing by the [url=http://webnews.sff.net/read?cmd=read&artid=<4f90ffaa.0@news.sff.net>]Newsgroup[/url] you may find a possible reason to visit the capital in the next little while or so? Shh... Wink

EDIT: Argh! The link won't work... Down ...and I'm too computer illiterate to know why! P
These beings suspect, though they can't say for sure, that it is the <> brackets in the url that break it.
There you go...maybe I'm not as computer illiterate as I thought! Smiling I thought that they may have had a role to play and even tried to delete them at one point...unsuccessfully of course! Big Grin They don't appear in the opening post of the same thread so that was a clue...
<> tags are on this forum linked to html code. generally it can be disfunctional to mix html code and BB code...
One work around is to put it in code. Then you can cut and paste the URL into your browser.
Code:
http://webnews.sff.net/read?cmd=read&artid=<4f90ffaa.0@news.sff.net>

Yay

I too am quite often computer illiterate which is probably why I find sff.net really difficult to navigate. I suppose if it's a 'secret rumour' I'll not find info anywhere else either. Nevertheless, I'm suitably (and probably prematurely) excited Magic though it would all depend on when and where and funds of course.

The secret rumour is 'more real' it would seem Smiling

April 2013! And for around a week and a half, so probably not just at a convention thingy..at least I hope not, I doubt funds will allow for that as well as travel/digs expenses. Eyes peeled for more information P
these beings can't seem to make sense of what the rumor concerns...
I think I'm correct in assuming our tangle leader is going to be visiting London, to coincide with the UK release of BoD?
I have been here for some week, mostly reading the forums while trying to avoid anything spoilerish. It's time to write some thing about myself.

I'm from Hungary, and Hobb's books were love at first sight for me. It was so refreshing, because mostly omg-you-are-the-choosen-one-and-greatest-hero kind of fantasy books were avaiable for me that time.

I used to be a very reserved child with my hobbies as drawing, reading, and watching living entities in the nature.. By now I have becomen more social, so I play pen and paper rpgs Knight and board games.

I am reading now the City of dragons.
