and a warm welcome from me too (thul again was swifter) Smiling! I hope you'll have a good time here.

Are you from Germany, Tebasile?

random chance, finella... random chance that these beings were quicker.

You bring meat?
Thank you for welcoming me 'thul and finella! Smiling

The Rain Wild Chronicles so far......hhmmmm.... they are different.....

I had some trouble at first to get into them as the writing and story seemed to be simpler and not as rich and intriguing to me as the previous three trilogies and the characters also were harder to identify with for me.
But as we are delving deeper in the mysteries their expedition is discovering I am too drawn into the story.

And yes, I am from Germany.
Originally from the Southwest, I currently live in the Northwest after spending time studying in the Middle. Wink
That sounds like an experience many others have had. When these beings were at the end of the first book, they immediately had to get the second. Of course, that meant quite a while to wait for the third (and fourth), but it was worth it.

Oh, I also had to get the second book right after I finished the first one day before yesterday actually. Big Grin

Currently I am debating whether I should read the first one now or wait until the fourth book is available too.

I want to read it but as it is said it ends clive hangery and also costs more than preordering the fourth book does (which I already have P ) I'm not sure whether its a good idea to read it just yet. Wink

don't you mean the third one?

Oops, yes as I already have read the first one I mean the third one.

that makes far more sense...

These beings would suggest getting it, as it will lessen the wait for the next one. Its a fairly quick read, and well worth it. A number of things left unclear in DH will be made clear in CoD.

These beings won't go into details, though.

'thul typically order books from thebookdepository, as that place doesn't charge anything for shipping and delivers fairly quickly. Unless you are like them and block browser ads, you can find a link at the bottom of the forum that will take you there and support this forum at the same time...

Ha, "random" he says. What a laughBig Grin!

Sorry, no meat for thul Stirring.

Where is northwest for you, Tebasile?

I decided to stop after Dragon Haven and didn't touch CoD. I will wait until BoD is out and then start all over again and read it in one go.

I liked DK and DH very much. They are not that complex and profound as Farseer, Liveships and Tawny Man. I think no author can hold up such an extremely high level of quality in every book that follows. But I love the story, the Rain Wilds and some of the characters and I can dive deep into it Book. What else could I expect?!
Finella meat?
