Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Farseer - Jul-11-2011 I'm making a general 'interview' thread to make it easier to slot them somewhere as they come up, rather than all over the place as I have been doing of late (seeing as I can't link them to the main page). Feel free to suggest an alternative, if you come up with an idea! Here's another interview with Robin, if you haven't already seen the Shades of Sentience link on her main site. The interview was conducted by Alanna Horgan, who Robin met while she was in Brisbane for SupaNova earlier this year. RE: Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Farseer - Jul-16-2011 I can't see that I have previously placed this link anywhere else so apologies if it turns out to be a double post! It is a 4ZzZ radio interview with Robin from back in March, during her visit to Australia for SupaNova. RE: Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Farseer - Sep-06-2011 Here is a brief but recent Robin Hobb interview on the Oberon's Law site. Of special interest to me was the title Robin used for Book Four - 'Dragon Blood'. Again, it is once again different to 'Blood of Dragons', the title which she used to describe Book Four in the previous post on her site. I think we had simply best 'wait and see' for this to once and for all be confirmed for us eg leave it until the cover art is released! RE: Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Farseer - Dec-03-2011 I could have put this in with the other Reddit news post but ... Not sure if any of you were able to take part while it was actually happening (I didn't ) but here's the link to another Reddit session that Robin participated in on November 30th. This time she was answering questions for the Fantasy Book Club and the book under discussion was 'Dragon Keeper'. Happy reading! RE: Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Valarya - Dec-09-2011 Awesome!!! I read through as much of the earlier Reddit 'interview' as I could. Glad to have a new one to keep me from working. RE: Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Relpda - Dec-19-2011 Thanks for posting these Farseer, I really enjoyed reading these RE: Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Farseer - Dec-19-2011 You are most welcome, Relpda - I'm glad you've enjoyed them. Feel free to contribute any time if you (that goes for everyone! ) come across an interview or some such that may be of interest. RE: Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Farseer - Jan-13-2012 I could have put this in my Vale Sara Douglass and Other Authors thread but thought it may get more attention here? It is an io9 interview with Robin entitled 'Robin Hobb pays tribute to Anne McCaffrey’s enduring influence'. RE: Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Farseer - Feb-08-2012 Here's an interview by Peter Orullian with Robin over at Tor.com. RE: Hobb/Lindholm Interviews - Farseer - Feb-25-2012 Robin has recently completed a SUVUDU interview by Shawn Speakman if you'd like to take a gander. From this interview, you may also be glad to hear that Robin is thinking that she will finish up her tale 'The Wilful Princess and the Piebald Prince'! I've been waiting for that one!!! Such great news! |
