RE: Movie snapshot game... - Farseer - Jun-13-2011

I have no idea re the other two!

Albertosaurus Rex, could yours be from one of the 'Terminator' movies, just for the sake of guessing something?

Sorry 'thul but I've watched hardly any new movies in the last twelve months, outside of ones such as 'Despicable Me' or 'Megamind'! Blushing

RE: Movie snapshot game... - 'thul - Jun-13-2011

Megamind is an excellent movie. It is a prime example of evil overlords.

These beings may post another image later on (when they have the movie available for clipping) to give more indications...

@ Farseer: I bet you're thinking of that scene in which the Terminator drives a car through the police station? Sorry, but that's not it. It's from a very recent movie.

Count me out then. Smiling

Since no one has replied for a while, I'll drop some hints:

* As I've said, it's a fairly recent movie...
* ...that is based on an old tv series...
*... and has Edward James Olmos (Best known as Bill Adama from the new Battlestar Galactica) in a very minor role. His talent is wasted in this movie, but he makes every scene he is in at least 20% cooler simply by being him.
* It's an absolutely stupid movie.

Then it's The green hornet. Never seen it (nor the series).

These beings will give one hint as to the movie they posted earlier.

Red.

One of the best hints I've ever read...not helpful at all, but humorous nonetheless! Big Grin

That would be correct. And as I have indicated, you really haven't missed anything, although I did forget to mention that a found the villain kind of amusing. So on the plus side, there's E. J. Olmos and an amusing villain. On the downside, there's a very unlikeable protagonist, a bland sidekick and a stupid, stupid plot.

RE: Movie snapshot game... - 'thul - Jun-17-2011

hmm... still no attempts to guess movie?

These beings will combine all the previous hints into one post. They would have brightened up the colors a bit, but no suitable picture editor was available, thus they could not do that.

These beings have also encountered numerous snapshots from that show, usually with quotes attached, mostly posted to annoy the helheim out of some overly sensitive others.

Red.

If you look closely at the image, then combine it with the last hint, you should get a good idea.

If their net is working this evening, they may add a better-quality image from the same movie.
