on the subject of patient transport... these beings spent a couple of hours sitting in an ambulance last thursday... But it was merely the local red cross ambulance, not emergency services' ambulance... (and there was no injury involved)
They did discover why its a good thing that most seats lean slightly backwards... sitting up against vertical wall is tiresome after a while.

Temperatures are finally in the right ranges here.
11.5/12.1/11.1 degrees Celsius here now, was as low as 13.5/14.1/12.9 during the night.
All below freezing, of course.
'thul have now got a reason to wear their inverted sheep. (fur where it ought to be, on the inside)
Hardly any snow yet though, so ground is starting to freeze. As it should. (only frozen for about 5cm yet, though it is getting close down to 10cm with only 0.1 degrees C at that point.)

You are obviously making much more progress than these beings are... Theirs is still on the background material, even if that has evolved quite far from earlier points...

It's a fairly short book, though, aimed at slightly younger readers, so yours probably needs far more in-depth research.

probably true, that...
these beings have stumbled onto a few roadblocks that need to be figured out... Mainly in the societies being too foreign to work the way they were originally planned. But its been put on a slow boil to figure that part out...

Tonight a concert of one of my favourite bands (IQ), but apparently there's gonna be a lot of snow today. I know 'Thul are probably thinking 'pah! snow!' but for The Netherlands snow is an exception rather than the rule. So I'm not really looking forward to driving about 3 hours through a snow storm....
