Shouldn't that Twitter message _change_ sometimes? It's still showing my message from 3rd of June and I've tweeted plenty after that.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying.
I just upgraded both the forum software and the twitter plugin - if it doesn't start changing after this, I'll modify the settings so that the tweets won't be shown at all, only the name of the twitter account in the profile.

Ookay. I have uninstalled the twitter plugin because it just didn't work the way it was supposed to, even after upgrading all the parts. You can still add your twitter username to your profile though, I added an extra field for it (and one for blogs too). Also - all of you who used this plugin should probably go to your user control panel to remove the last tweet manually or it will be displayed for Eda knows how long. Just go to "user cp" -> "edit profile" and under "Custom User Title" there should be a box "Revert to group default": check that and save the changes.

I don't see a "custom user title" anywhere... Are you sure that's not just an Admin option?

While I was upgrading the forum script I noticed there's a new version for the Twitter plugin and I re-installed it. You can now again add your twitter username to your profile and your latest tweet will be displayed - but there's now a setting that enables restricting that to only the profile pages. (I think it's better this way, the tweets can be quite distracting in the middle of conversations. AND this way you can still keep your user title!
I had to manually remove the old twitter account names, and I'm not sure I caught all - if your old "stuck" feed is still being displayed with your messages, please let me know and I'll remove it through the admin panel. Here's the Twitter plugin FAQ if you have any problems using the new version (Scroll down to "Profile use"). You can visit my profile to see how the feed will be displayed.
