It's great! I played that game a bit ago. It was pretty enjoyable. There's actually a lot of freebies out there that are great but are hard to find. Ones that's always good to pass the time/experiment in is Burning Sands. Just scroll down to the bottom and get the latest version Idk if you'd call it a "game" as it doesn't really have any objectives. What you do is you have certain elements. Such as oil. And then you get a flame and the oil burns up. And if you put a flame in water the heat will cause steam. And water on grass causes it to grow, ect ect. Basically its more of a playground. RE: The grand videogame thread - Albertosaurus Rex - Jul-12-2010 Gotta try out that game, thanks! The TV tropes page about Eversion has to be seen to be believed. It's what they call a "self demonstrating article"... RE: The grand videogame thread - Chrischa - Jul-13-2010 Another likewise addicitive online game: Desktop Tower Defence. You might know it already; there are hundreds of copies available on the iPhone, Flashgames and other, but I think the original is still the best. RE: The grand videogame thread - 'thul - Jul-13-2010 Tower defense games are rather addictive, yes. These beings agree with that sentiment. There are many versions, almost to any taste out there. Some of the better ones are maps for other games that adapt the game to tower defense. A flash version looks good till you try a complex, full 3D tower defense. RE: The grand videogame thread - Nuytsia - Aug-01-2010 Guess the computer game quote: "zug zug" "nakamundo!" (hmm wonder if that's how you spell it) "i can't use these things together" RE: The grand videogame thread - Nuytsia - Aug-05-2010 *crickets* I thought those were really easy! RE: The grand videogame thread - Chrischa - Aug-08-2010 Not so easy it seems - I've had to put my boyfriend Dave on it, an avid videogamer since the age of ten. He says 'World of Warcraft' for the first one, no idea for the second one, and the third one could be any number of point-and-click game, but he's guessing 'Day of the Tentacle'. Incidentally; we both love Day of the Tentacle. We played through it together a couple of years ago, and we both laughed ourselves silly! :-) RE: The grand videogame thread - Liquid Ice - Aug-08-2010 (Aug-01-2010, 01:08 PM (UTC))Nuytsia Wrote: Guess the computer game quote: Easy? Haha no . Zug zug reminds me of Warcraft 3 for some reason. No one would happen to have the new starcraft game would they? RE: The grand videogame thread - Albertosaurus Rex - Aug-08-2010 Quote:"i can't use these things together" That's from some adventure game, right? Discworld?
