It doesn't have to be your own site (blog, twitter etc) - that's why I mentioned forums and livejournal communities. Unless this is the only spec-fic community you participate in online...
There's actually a couple of really obvious public places to post that no one seems to have thought of yet...

Woops! Totally forgot to announce the winner here - I did contact them and HarperCollins earlier though so the books should be on their way soon. The winner was the last entrant, Beth.
