RE: Favorite tv shows - Albertosaurus Rex - Feb-22-2013

Oh yeah, How I Met Your Mother is hilarious. As a sidenote, the season finale of My Little Pony last saturday was fantastic, and more than makes up for the slightly disappointing third season.

About to start watching season 8 of The X-Files. I've been told the final two seasons are worse due to cast changes. Indeed, there's a guy I've never seen before on the front of the DVD box.

I'm actually really quite impressed with the way they've remained (mostly) faithful to the book and the 'no holds barred' approach. Seven episodes down, three to go, day off again tomorrow...that's my afternoon sorted! Smiling

I agree and I'm also at the very same point...except that I don't have a day off tomorrow. Big Grin Will have to finish Season One late into tonight. Lots of office work to do today and school etc tomorrow.

I was also surprised by how the majority of actors who were cast for the show matched well with the interpretations of the characters that I'd had in my head whilst reading eg Cersei and Jaime.

Of course, I had to also re-experience the negative feelings I had about the books Mad but that's okay. Smiling

EDIT: And I'd definitely not put it up there as a 'favourite tv show' of mine. P I think I'd have enjoyed it far less if I'd not read the books first.

even with the changes to character ages they've done a good job adapting it.
