Yes, liveship traders is important to have read before RWC. Too much that will not be understandable otherwise...

I'm the same as you, finella... one liners have me tearing up badly with this series, especially where Fitz and Fool are concerned.
… And Nighteyes! The very moment, when Fitz and The Fool were linked through The Fool’s skilled fingers and The Fool recognized the aura of Nighteyes „This, this is Nighteyes? This mighty warrior, this great heart?“ That scene moved me to tears, just because it is so beautiful. And there are many others.
I think I will go on with LST. After finishing AQ I started with a german thriller, which is really not bad. But after the Farseer-Trilogy it’s sort of flat and boring to me

Yes, I know. I already read LST twice. Once in german and once in englisch 2 years ago. This will be the third time

My mom's reading RWC at the moment without having read LST. I already told her she could ask me about stuff that was unclear, but so far no questions. Either she's hiding from me that she's not reading the thing at all or she has less problems with the story than you all expect.
Anyway, she'll get LST for her bday later this year

I've just finished my AQ reread too, I agree it is such a good book and it's so sad when you come to the end and realise it's finished! So many great moments; the one with Nighteyes, the Fool and Fitz as mentioned and the tearjerking one where Verity goes into the dragon
so beautiful. I do think there HAS to be more books in the Farseer world after the new RWs books now I've re-read AQ, so many unanswered questions that still don't resolve by TM - even if Fitz and the Fool aren't present more books are needed! (I need a begging icon!)
