I finished reading the books maybe a week ago and have not been able to shake the world out of my head.
I think the hard part is that the characters are so well written and there is so much suffering and little gratification -- at least for the characters that you would like to see gratified

It appears that it's been a long time since anyone has introduced themselves in this thread, but here I am, adding my introduction. I've been deeply comforted, fascinated, moved, and educated by Robin Hobb's world, and by Fitz, for 20 years. I'm happy to be here, and looking forward to taking part in discussions on the forum.
