RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - 'thul - Jan-29-2012

The one 'thul encountered was far from small. It was in fact built into a rather large truck. (and was used to clean rocks and such out of sewers)

As I forgot to wish Robin Hobb all the best to her birthday, let me at least say to you

HAPPBY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Slurp

All the best for you and many happy reading hours too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(It's a bad custom to throw with cakes. I am german. I am earnest P)

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - 'thul - Mar-07-2012

Only bad custom if they cant catch it. Or if it is the type known in Norway as "kukake".
(feel free to look it up. this is a good place)

Wink The german word is not that different: it's "Kuhkacke". Apart from that I want to differentiate myself from any other similarities to norwegian customs P.
(Puh, hard stuff to try to be funny in a different language Blushing)

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - 'thul - Mar-07-2012

Well, its not a Norwegian custom to toss such cakes... Fortunately...

*belly laughs* Well you made me laugh, finella! Big Grin Clapping P

If you missed sending Robin a happy birthday, and would still like to, feel free to head over to the Newsgroup and offer a belated birthday wish in response to someone else's post. We do it all of the time for people's birthdays. If you've never been there before you will be happily accepted into the group, even with a belated birthday wish P , as Robin is a special and kind lady...up to you though. Flowers

A big birthday - '60' - for Robin this year. Smiling
