RE: What's happening in your world? - fool-ish - Jul-30-2012 Thanks joost, it looks like a great weekend I used the translate facility, and though the translation wasn't the best, I got the gist of it. Glad you enjoyed your boat trip, too RE: What's happening in your world? - joost - Jul-30-2012 (Jul-30-2012, 12:00 PM (UTC))fool-ish Wrote: Thanks joost, it looks like a great weekendIt was! Bands seen: Saturday: Empusae, MarS, Monolith (partially because I had to eat), Dirty K, Näo, Winterkälte Sunday: Talvekoidik, Michel Banabila, A challenge of honour, Kiss the anus of a black cat, Camerata mediolanense You'd probably only like KTAOABC, who played electro/gothrock this time (reminded me a lot of Sisters of Mercy). Usually they're a bit more experimental: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcSC58rMG4w More pics (you won't see me there as I was still on the boat on friday when this party was held) : http://www.gooddayz.nl/component/content/article/88-hoofditems/3486-summer-darkness-presents-bal-du-masque RE: What's happening in your world? - fool-ish - Jul-30-2012 (Jul-30-2012, 04:20 PM (UTC))joost Wrote:Just my luck that a band with a name such as that would be the one I'd like! No wonder your feet hurt! Still, it's all worth it RE: What's happening in your world? - fool-ish - Aug-13-2012 Well, that's that then! England can get back to normal! However, despite my misgivings (I hated all the build up and hype, it really was too much!) I've been riveted to the games and I do think we've put on a pretty good show after all. That said, Rio is welcome to it! RE: What's happening in your world? - 'thul - Aug-13-2012 these beings prefer the winter olympics. RE: What's happening in your world? - fool-ish - Aug-13-2012 England shan't be hosting those any time soon, not unless there are medals to be had in rain dancing RE: What's happening in your world? - 'thul - Aug-13-2012 There are no such medals. These beings rather like the positioning on the winter medal totals... Norway has a 50-medal lead on there... RE: What's happening in your world? - 'thul - Aug-15-2012 These beings are (for the most part) currently without any practical internet access... no net at home and a defective access card to the computer labs... Most inconvenient. RE: What's happening in your world? - Farseer - Aug-17-2012 ^ More like sad, 'thul beings! So many other posts still to respond to in this thread but I'm still packing, still moving and very much looking forward to finally arriving at the new homestead to stay (three truck and two wagon loads and we're still not done...!). In saying that, I hate the move and don't want to make it (lots of tears from my daughter and I today because we want to stay ) but am now kind of at the stage where I just want it to be over!!! RE: What's happening in your world? - 'thul - Aug-17-2012 The primary problems have been solved, but these beings do not have all that stable a home net... It tends to go online and offline regularly. sometimes staying offline for half an hour or more. In fact, it went offline even in the midst of writing this post. 200m or so to the nearest computer lab is a small consolation though... |
