News and Releases - Farseer - Apr-22-2010

Mervi,

I'm not quite sure what I'm asking let alone how I will word it...!

Ah, would you like us to inform you when certain covers etc are expected to be released in our home countries or do you somehow have access to all that information anyway, or don't really want to post that sort of thing as you'd be doing it all the time?

eg The cover you have featured on the home page of theplenty (the US one, is it?, as I have the other UK version) is due for release in Australia as a hardback on May 1st and I thought some Australian theplenty users may like to know?

Thanks!

RE: Releases - Mervi - May-11-2010

Yeah, I'm always happy to post about new releases, translations or any other Hobb related news! And no, I don't have a source that covers it all 100% - it's mostly a network of links and feeds that I check, and sometimes people emailing me with information - nothing compared to Chade's spy network, really. Big Grin

Anyway - does the hardback with the US cover have the same ISBN number or a different one? (It's supposed to be 9780061931413.) If it's the same, then it's just the same book sold in Australia - if it has a different number it would be really interesting (and strange!) since the Australian editions usually have the UK cover (usually with the UK isbns, or in case of large format paperback, their own).

I wonder if that made any sense? P

Sorry Mervi, I don't get very many of the email alerts (my Inbox gets filled enough as it is!) so have only just seen this. Yes, the ISBN for the US-covered h/back released here is the same. ISBN for the UK-covered h/back is 9780007335817 (as you'd know!).
