Burrich/Fitz/Fool question *spoilers tawny man* - Thick - Nov-27-2015

Hi,
I could be completely mistaking things, but why could Fitz bring the fool back to life, (and restore/heal a decaying body), using the wit. But couldn't heal Burrich's alive but wounded body.
Seems really odd. My cynical mind suggests by 'killing him off' it meant Fitz could ligitimately persue Molly...

Hi!
The way I understood it, Fitz brought the fool back to life first by entering via their skill bond, then using the wit to direct the healing. Burrich was sealed to the skill so Fitz couldn't find a way in.

I see where you're coming from.

I suppose it depends on what a happens to someone sealed from the skill after their body dies. Also the kind of healing was very different, with the fool it was a matter of persuading already (relatively) healthy systems to re-start with the wit, and then a relatively small healing effort driven with the skill. the question is would what Chivalry had done to Burrich still be in effect, blocking Fitz's attempt to heal Burrich's seriously damaged body after bringing him back to life.
