Tribute song to Vivacia - Pocket Ted - Dec-18-2010

Hi everyone,

I read the Liveship Traders series a few years back and felt inspired to write a song about it. I've posted it on Youtube. Here's the link if you're interested in taking a look:

Captain of Vivacia

I was interested and so I looked P - thanks for sharing, Pocket Ted.

I'm not sure what I was expecting but I was certainly surprised when I realised you were singing from Kyle's (he rubs me the wrong way Rant ) perspective for the first part of it...it was unforeseen yet definitely thought-provoking Clapping .

I had a laugh when the Satrap told of his handsome looks...no doubt he was but funny that "handsome" is not something I ever pictured [[Cosgo]] being!!

Well met and welcome to thePlenty!

Thanks for your comments Farseer. Kyle wasn't a favourite of mine either I have to say but I enjoyed considering life from his point of view albeit just for the song. It's been about 10 years since I read these books now and I suddenly have a real hankering to read them all again. I always felt I could do with adding another verse!

Quite happily, I struggle with this same urge as soon as I finish each re-read (and usually give in to the temptation Big Grin !).
