Oh, 'thul! You beings are sooo close! Clapping Yes, it was Trader Restart but it was not Ronica to whom he was speaking...

RE: RotE quote game...(spoilers all books) - 'thul - Feb-08-2011

Nevah!

Hmm... That should only leave two names right now. Unless these beings forgot some...
Restart to Althea?
Restart to Keffria?

Was the situation correctly placed? or was it somewhat later in the story?

The situation occurs on the way to the ball which was attended by the Satrap.Dance

Ok, then it was the name these beings intentionally left out. Serilla.

Go 'thul beings! Yay Yes, it was Serilla, and taken from the very end of Chapter Thirty-One in 'The Mad Ship'. She and Davad had been on their way to the Summer Ball with the Satrap, Kekki etc. Davad had previously observed to himself that Serilla was wearing a "demure cream gown".

The entire passage that includes the quote:

Quote:...He leaned toward her and patted her knee companionably.
'Don't fret about your gown,' he whispered to her. 'I am sure that all of Bingtown will honour you for your position, no matter what you are wearing.'

It only took a while. These beings thought it was that earlier trip, somewhat before the satrap visited...

Now, have you any thoughts on this one?

*sigh!* No, nothing worth sharing, outside of what I've already stated. I hate to give up though!!! Possibly the only other person I think it could be that Tintaglia is talking to, outside of Malta or Reyn, would be Selden?

I suddenly have the death of SWR popping up but I will dismiss that...!!

If only I'd read the LST with a little more care, not to mention the RWC, and will ensure that I do when I reach them during my entire ROTE re-read!
