Good. Anyone has a right to do silly stuff on the anniversary of the day they hatched. So be have fun and make sure it is as merry as all here wish you to have it be.

Okay, you beings. I'll bite. What's with the wheel in the shower? Blink The only thing I can come up with is that you're trying to locate a hole in a tube. That the sink may be a better place for such an undertaking makes me think this scenario unlikely however!

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - 'thul - Jan-29-2012

There is snow outside. The wheel was thus covered in it. Rather than wanting to wash the floor, which is a bother, 'thul decided it was easier to let it melt and dry overnight in the shower, which is quick and easy to scrub clean.

That makes sense to me! I'll remember that little tip for a time when not only have I seen snow but when a wheel I have is covered in it... P

A bathtub would serve much the same purpose. As might a particularly large sink (which, if you look at it the right way, a bathtub is)...

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - fool-ish - Jan-29-2012

I think the bath is the only place I haven't found a bike part! Though it wouldn't surprise me in the least if I did, being as there are bits of bike everywhere else! Some of the smallest parts have succumbed to the vacuum cleaner, though of course, if I'm asked, I haven't the foggiest idea where they might have got to Wink

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - 'thul - Jan-29-2012

These beings have a feeling that the wheels are not listed among such "smallest parts"...

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - fool-ish - Jan-29-2012

No, wheels aren't included. The vacuum cleaner ain't quite big enough (unfortunately) P

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - 'thul - Jan-29-2012

These beings got to work with a nice vacuum cleaner a few years ago. It could pull rocks of about 2kg straight up 4-5 meters at decent velocity. It could also suck rubber gloves stretching past the elbow straight off the arm if given the chance. Is that the type of vacuum cleaner you would want?

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - fool-ish - Jan-29-2012

That's just the sort I need, a little bit dangerous in such a small space, mind you. It might eat the cat!
