Part way thru first book. The task gets more pleasant as I move along. I can't believe how much Sedric and Hest remind me of a couple I know in real life.
Glad to hear it Narya! Big Grin Not the most ideal relationship in the world, but then some people do thrive on that sort of thing, to the wonderment of others usually.

Well, not that bad. He is just rather full of himself. The three of us (and quite a few others) crew on a dragon boat team. It's not a real dragon, alas, nor even a stone dragon. Just a fiberglass dragon. Big Grin

Phew! 'Full of himself' I could tolerate (just) more than total Hest-like behaviour!

Dragon boat..sounds interesting

RE: "First, let me introduce you to yourself" - 'thul - Feb-19-2012

Proper "dragonboats" are called 'liveships'.

And you wouldn't catch me on either while they were moving! BoatOuch

I think it best if I now add a spoiler tag in the thread title...it's a pity as new members may not have read all books and so may fear to enter here as a first port of call. Still, it's required I think?

I took took out my spoilers. If Foolish can revise my quotes as well it will be spoiler-free. Sorry about that!

No worries! Smiling I think we've all (myself included P ) been going down the spoiler path here for a while now and I feel like I've been a bit lax. Surrender Still, it's tricky to consider spoilers when we've been drowning in memories so long... Whistling

I'll make some time tomorrow afternoon to sit down and have a thorough go-through here and elsewhere as maybe I'm just being over cautious....it sure was far easier when I could just let Mervi reel me in! Big Grin
