A round up of news to start 2026
A roundup of news from the past three months! A new Robin Hobb short story is set to appear in Grimoire: A Grim Oak Press Anthology For ECCC 2026. You can preorder it at the Grim Oak Press website here. A new audio book edition of the Farseer trilogy was released in January. It was narrated by Joe Eyre who talks about the process over on Bluesky. It’s available wherever you get audiobooks but seems to be restricted to the UK-based market at least at the moment. (The previous version had a two year wait between UK and US markets so there's hope it ends up available everywhere.) If you've been wondering how to get a signed Robin Hobb book ever since the Ubookstore option ended, wonder no more! Shawn Speakman from SignedPage.com (which has always carried signed RH editions) is now offering a dedicated RH store where you can order signed and customised books. To celebrate the opening of the new store there's a 10% discount when you buy 3 ore more. The next signing date is March 12, 2026. And here's what this year's tentative con schedule for Robin Hobb looks like so far (for more details, visit her blog) Wondercon at the Anaheim Convention Center March 27th to 29th, 2026 in California
Emerald City Comic Con March 5th to 8th in Seattle
International Comic-con July 24th to 27th in San Diego, California
Worldcon August 27th to 31st in Anaheim, California
New York Comic Con is from October 8th to 11th but she hasn't made a commitment to this one yet.
World Fantasy Convention is from October 22th to 25th in Oakland, California.
Grit City Comic Show November 7th in Tacoma, WA.
Dragon Steel Nexus which takes place from December 3th to 5th in Salt Lake City, Utah is another one she's considering. ...
