City of dragons (spoilers)

There's no CoD thread here yet....

I'm at chapter 10 right now, and so far I like it. Most important stuff that has happened so far (includes detailed spoilers! Don't say I didn't warn you!):

Not spoiling the story, just general information

- There's almost definitive proof that Fitz was in Kelsingra: Alise finds a map room with a broken window and signs of a fire. Technically this probably isn't 100% proof, but it's enough for me.
- We get to see the Duke of Chalced for the first time. He's as charming as expected.

Plot developments, heavy spoiler alert!

- Sintara was the second dragon to fly, although her flight ended in the water. Whether she drowns is revealed in one of the next chapters.
- Malta is still pregnant.
- Leftrin went back to Cassarick.
- Selden Vestrit is held captive and is probably being sold to the Duke of Chalced.
- Rapskal and Thymara nearly drowned in memories, but Thymara was 'rescued' by Sintara's botched flight.

I think (from what's happened in the past?) that once CoD is released in both English versions, the thread of the same name from the Upcoming books & other RH news room will eventually be brought down here? Hmm, just on that, possibly The Inheritance should have been moved here by now...it's been almost a year since its release. Either way, we can always change thread titles or something later to avoid confusion?

I can't even begin to tell you how hard it is for me to refrain from clicking that spoiler tag, having just an hour or so ago finished Dragon Haven!

Just finished Drakenstad. I loved it

- Malta and Reyn get a son, but not without problems
- Sintara seems to have flown away
- Everyone and their mother is going to Kelsingra: Tarman+crew, Malta, Reyn, their son and Tillamon, Hest, Tintaglia, several traders, some Chalcedeans.

It's likely to take me a lot longer than that to learn another language, let alone become fluent enough to be able to read a book written in it! I've actually just pre-ordered CoD to be with me by 25th April. Let the countdown begin
