As for Hobb's Liveship Traders series (though Ship of Magic is currently down for corrections), Kindle eBooks for Megan Lindholm's works finally became available from both Amazon and Amazon.co.uk in September last year.
Simply click on the link appropriate to you, choose 'Kindle Store' in the Search or Departments drop-down box and then insert 'Megan Lindholm' in the blank Search for field.
