Last night I read Ship of Destiny late into the night, including some rather vivid battles. This morning I went to my dragon boat racing practice - 22 of us in a large canoe, paddling like crazy. I was probably the only one who had strange thoughts in her head when the coach said "fall on your blades!" and "body drop now!" and even "finish it now!". On the way back to the dock, with the water of the bay lapping just 6 inches (15cm) from the top of the gunnel, and my hand dipping in the water with every stroke, I silently thanked Sa for the lack of serpents.

But as for me, my heart is with the Sea, and I will dwell by the grey shores until the last ship sails.
