What are you reading right now? (possible RotE spoilers)

I *was* working my way through a fourth, or even fifth, attempt at A Game of Thrones. Again, I've put it down and I think that this time I will be putting it down for good. I just cannot stand it (!!) and I can't explain why...

...maybe I'm just the kind of person who needs bunnies and butterflies in my stories and the RotE is the limit that my dark side can reach.

I don't even know what to say. Martin is one of the best authors I've ever had the pleasure to read. His world-building is rich to the point I can taste the foods he describes.. his character-building is more complex than any thing else I've ever read and, well, the story is just SO DAMN good.
