As much as I LOVE actual books, I AM very interested in exploring the ebook option because it would be such a benefit for me to be able to receive a book immediately rather than have to wait for an order to be fulfilled and then the mail to arrive...in the long run, I think ebooks would also be a cheaper alternative to having to pay the purchase price of the book and then postage etc on top.
With this in mind, I have downloaded Kindle for PC and successfully purchased a couple of RH books for storage on my computer (which I can apparently transfer to an Australian Kindle DX later, should I wish to buy one ). This way I don't seen to have to worry about 3G coverage...it's only a problem if I want to download directly to a Kindle (at least that's my understanding now!).
My only concern so far is that I can't seem to enlarge the maps and they are very difficult to read...while I have memorised the RotE ones and don't need to refer to those anyway :exclamation: , I DO need to be able to see the maps for the Soldier Son trilogy, and those for any other books which I may like to read later. Any pointers?
