What are you reading right now? (possible RotE spoilers)

Hmmm I guess no-one else had read The Name of the Wind or they would have mentioned it. I'm still finding it hard to get into. Minor

I mean so far the main character is your mainstream fantasy SUPER AT EVERYTHING guy ...... I'm pretty sure there must be some sort of twists on this coming, but it's hard going to get to it! (if in fact there is). The book is sooooo slow to get going. The guy writes very descriptively. I don't know, geees, if these were characters I knew well I would probably be hanging on their every raised eyebrow to see where their relationships were going, but at this point I simply don't care about the subtle conversational nuances! I've decided books need to start with a bit more action than this.
