What is your approach to series?

Wheel of time is currently 11 books (book 12 will be published in october, I think), and probably will be 14 or 15 when it's done.
Fables is currently 13 volumes and going, but I don't know if you can compare graphic novels with written books.

Heheh yeah I was thinking to myself, geees even Wheel of Time isn't even 15 books!
That's my standard.

I would say it's reasonably uncommon.....
