It was this same ascendancy which Vivacia and Bolt fought for, and both could only have once they merged in the end...if they hadn't merged, one would always have had dominance or ascendancy over the other OR, at the very least, they would have been in constant turmoil. Chrischa, you can see that I'm going to have to add this 'ascendancy' point to my Gernia thread, don't you ?!

Yeah, good one! Another thing that sounded vaguely familiar but I hadn't "clicked" on yet. I look forward to giving that a good think-over when I've got a bit more time.
