I think that's one of the more interesting things in life, that discussions can get you far from where you started.
But to keep on topic: I am quite enjoying Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison so far. I hope the rest of the series is this good. But be sure to get the UK editions and not those dreadful US editions.
