A Different Mirror: A History of Multicultural America by Ronald Takkaki

The fogs are lifting with every chapter I read.

I just found out the author has been dead for two years, which is a shame as he would be one of the few champions left fighting for ethnic studies. I suppose he would be appalled and disgusted the way things have turned out now.
