Yes, I recall when Lord Golden was going to cut Tom Badgerlock's hair into a servant's cut but couldn't bring himself to do it, and instead retied it in a warrior's tail. I'm not sure if this was due to his caring of Tom's appearance for his own sake (he liked how Tom looked) or if it would become an important factor in the story/role-play...as it was, it was not long after that incident that Tom came back to Lord Golden with his new 'terms of employment', so to speak eg that he was to be a bodyguard as well as a valet etc.
