We have ALL sorts of animals running around here, we don't discriminate!  Wow I will certainly take a pic if I ever see it!!!! (*suspects camera batteries would pick that moment to be flat*)

I heard something the other day that indicated in America the dates for official starts to the seasons (ie summer, winter etc) are different to ours? (uh apart from them being opposite that is!!) In Australia the seasons officially change on 1st day of March, June, September, December. (unless it's just me!) I think I heard in America it's on the 21st of the month?? (I could be wrong) I was wondering what it is in other countries?

Those are the spring and autumn equinoxes... This year, spring equinox is 20th march, and the autumn equinox is 23 september. an equinox is one of the two days in the year when the day and night are closest to being equal length (12 hours each) season start is more fluid, though. These beings have never really operated with a specific date that says "spring starts now"

I don't know about the first day of spring but I do know we've had daylight savings begin and end a week later than before. Because Congress has the power to alter time.

Yeah I know what the equinoxes are...... do you live in America thul? If we didn't have an official start date for the seasons how could the weather bureau amaze us with statistics like 'this has been the hottest summer on record' (which they like to do here) Hah redchild some states in Australia can't even decide whether or not to HAVE daylight savings....!

These beings have once lived in America (for three years), but they do not live there now. Nor have they done so for many years. These beings will be nice and give two hints as to their location... Snow. Oil. Those two should be ample enough to reveal the truth.
