Sometimes I think it's quite shameful for a grown woman like myself to be so obsessed with fictional characters in a fictional world.

That happened to me too. I also met RH in , hm, "advanced" age and cannot really explain my enthusiam to others. They simply won't understand. And I can't explain to anybody, that I for example grieved for *Tawny Man spoiler*

Properly designed fictional characters take on a life of their own. There are things they simple cannot / will not do, no matter what the author tries.

hey, i'm Cara Vestrit and i'm new. (obviously ). I began reading Robin Hobb´s books because one of my closes friends is a big fan of her. I´ve read Farseer, Live Ships, Tawny Man and Dragon keeper, dragon haven and city of dragons. I´m hoping to buy blood of dragons tomorrow, when the stores are open again. I read really fast so i´ll probably finish it after one day of looking like this . I ran across this site while surfing the internet for the release date I´m a big fantasy fan, altough i also enjoy other stories.

The Dutch hardcover of Blood of dragons (Drakenbloed) was released last week.

I initially wanted to wait for the English version, but I'm seriously tempted to just buy the Dutch versions anyway (and the English when they're released).
