It looks, at this point, as if I may be going to Polcon 2013 rather than Worldcon
in San Antonio in August 2013. (sorry, Steve. I'd looked forward to meeting
up again.) Polcon's a fantasy/SF convention in Poland. It's not absolutely definite
yet, but it's pretty close to that.

I will be at Rustycon in January right here close to home in SeaTac. Mostly
going to see friends but may end up on a panel or two or three. I will put
info up as I get it. I will also put in an appearance at the ALA wintermeeting
in Seattle, but I think that is limited to library professionals attending.

I am Not going to England in March. Decision was that I should stay home
and promote books in the US in March and April. I may (not definite yet) be
at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books in April.

I WILL be going to World Fantasy Con in Brighton, England in October 2013.

And on to other things. Most of these events are still on the hazy edge of scheduling, but I'll mention them here. January 28 is for real. I will be at University Book Store with JACKIE MORRIS! She is the cover artist for the Rain Wild Books, but will also be showing her beautiful picture books I AM CAT and East of the Sun and West of the Moon, and others. Hope to see you there. There will be a wonderful gift basket from us for a lucky winner. Your bookstore receipt is your entry for the drawing.

In April, month of the US release of Blood of Dragons, I will sign at University Book Store, Seattle. More on that later.

Later in April, I will be in Lost Angeles for the L.A. Festival of Books! Weekend of the 20-21 and that is as much as I know now.

And then, April 30, a first for me. I will visit Boston, "the land of the bean and the cod" (Quick, someone, quote the rest of the poem!) at the Boston Public library on Boylson St. 6 PM. More details as I know it.

And then, in June, HYPERICON has invited me to Nashville Tennesee! Another first for me and one I anticipate with great joy!

I will still, of course, be at the World Fantasy Convention in Brighton at the end of October. Fiona McIntosh, Australian author and I intend to run wild and scandalize all of Great Britain with our antics. It will be my wrap up event for my book tour of the UK for Blood of Dragons. More on that as I know it!

And will it be Polcon in Poland, or Worldcon in Texas . . . ? Decisions, decisions! I will let you know when I do!
