My husband has the Kindle app on his phone. A few weeks ago, I went off in a right ole panic when I saw my email inbox...masses and masses of order confirmations from Amazon, which had me thinking that someone had tapped into my account and spent a small fortune on books. Turns out they were free Kindle books, the hubby had ordered! And relax!  *for the night is dark and full of turnips*

 Yes, all the free or very cheap ebooks are quite a temptation. My electronic bookshell is huge – without taking off space. And meanwhile I only buy those „real“ books I love. And I have more space for all the different editions of my favorite authors.

I almost feel bad pointing this out, but amazon does offer a chance to trial the subscription for 14 days, meaning yes you can download the magazine and read the story for free (just remember to cancel afterwards as your credit card is otherwise charged automatically).
