Well, Farseer... you're not the only one whose mind plays tricks on them...

You're going to the movies with a friend and just before you step inside the theater you decide to tweet "About to see Robin Hood". After the 2,5 hour movie you look at your phone and see a few confused messages asking where and how and saying how nice etc. And then you realise you had typed "Hobb" instead of Hood... Blushing

Actually, I'm wondering if it was my phone's auto complete feature - it learns new words as I type them, and I've tweeted a lot about Hobb before. I don't always remember to check if it has "corrected" some words.

Oh, Mervi, that's so funny...especially as I had planned to come on here today and type:

...you have a chat with your kids about 'Robin Hood' being on at the movies last night but they have to continually correct you because you repeatedly say "Hobb" instead of "Hood"...

Glad to see I'm not the only one! Still, it's only my family and now you guys who know the depths of my obsession, and not a couple of hundred tweetzters Big Grin ...good one!!!

...when you can't stop thinking about how awesome it would be to have RotE-related personalised number plates (eg FARSEER), despite your long-held belief that personalised number plates are just a tiny bit gaudy and pretentious!!
ps Nobody with Qld plates is allowed to pinch that idea!!!
Even a simple number plate like this:

.bmp   FITZ00.bmp (Size: 37.38 KB / Downloads: 8)
would set me back $2295 AUS!!! *gulp* You'd be welcome to it!!

hehehe gees the most letters you can get on a personalised plate in Tassie seems to be 6 ..... Farsee ....... on the upside they only cost $1095 ......

and it looks like the cheaper ones with letters and numbers can only have up to 3 letters!!!!

Can't even fit fitz!

...you seriously start thinking it would be awesome to have just a tiny tattoo of something RotE-related, eg dragon or serpent, somewhere on your body (despite your aversion to anything that would go against your 'my body is my temple' position!).

A different kind of 'hooked' (to the site and not the books):

...you drive behind a car that has a spoiler on the back and instantly think of the spoiler code for thePlenty P !

i have fool tattoo on my shoulder [picture is my avatar]. actually it's not quite Robin Hobb's fool as it is my own interpretation to the fool's character all through literature and history, combined with my own personal philosophies. but the obsession with the fool started thanks to Hobb so... P

guess i'm hooked lol
