...you empty your shopping bags and gasp in amazement at the receipt that says "House of Farseer"... blink, look back & realise that it really says "House of Fraser"...and then feel strangely sad and disappointed for the rest of the day

...you decide that you don't get enough time to post or write down your most important RotE thoughts so plan to purchase a little tape recorder to record EVERYTHING, so you don't miss ANYTHING! ...you wake up one fairly cold morning only to discover that three of your five new chickens are 'dead'. You remember that the dragons of the Tarman expedition were revived by heat so you decide to place the stiff chickens in a shoebox atop an oil heater...and it works!

...you and your husband spend a perfectly good Saturday night having a blue and it takes some hours for both of you to wake up to yourselves and realise, "We're yelling at each other about....a book?"  My husband had not long gone past the event where Etta had reacted badly to Althea, and Wintrow had started to believe Althea's version of events after Etta had pointed out his stupidity. I was defending Althea and he was defending Wintrow, if you're at all interested in what started it.
