I played through that Raving Rabbids game at my friend's house before. It took me two nights and the others were content to just watch me rage at the hard mini-games.

I have to say the ending was very unsatisfactory. Dodgy Shooting rabbids with plungers is fun though.

These beings are now playing through "Empire: Total War" and generally meddling in how the history of the world happened.

Note:
when 'thul write in all italics, it is the lord of the three realms within 'thul speaking. A fairly egoistical, but also somewhat simple-minded dragon. Do not take such posts at face value.

That ending is one of the worst I have seen in my life. I'll admit that some of the minigames were decent, but it's so far removed from what earlier Rayman games were about that I can't help but hate it.

I recently installed some old Disney videogames again: Aladdin, The Lion King and Hercules. what surprised me was how challenging the first two games are, especially Lion King. However, Hercules was even easier than I remembered it being, and I was able to do a complete playthrough in about an hour. Then I replayed it on the highest difficulty, with pretty much the same results. (Only level 6 gave me any real trouble.)

Hercules the 2D platform game? I used to play it often as a kid but I never went further than the underworld gauntlet level.

Hooray, a game I have played (though only on Super Nintendo and quite a few years ago now Smiling )! This and The Jungle Book are pretty much my limit.

All went downhill for me from the moment I touched a Playstation and played Crash Team Racing. Pathetic at using a controller = Farseer. Although, I wasn't too bad with Sheep, Dog 'n' Wolf for a time...

I'm not sure what you mean by a "gauntlet" level. Does that refer to those levels that have you running straight ahead? Anyway, the underworld is the next-to-last level, ffollowed by a rather wimpy boss battle against Hades.

It struck me how few of the levels are actually traditional 2D platforming action: level 1 (training), level 3 (the forest) and level 4 (Thebes). Other levels have running through a kinda sorta 3D environment or put you in a cylindrical arena (Hydra, Medusa).

Yeah, I refer to the running levels as gauntlets.

Though not perfect, I think the developers behind Hercules did a pretty good job combining the two styles of gameplay. Though to be honest, I never really liked the gauntlets. I found the lack of swordplay to be boring P

My favorite level has to be Thebes (the Big Olive.) The Theban citizens are just too funny. I hate the guy with the barrel suspenders, though. And I think a cat gets caught on fire or something-- that was really annoying too.

This is some old news that I missed a while back. A new Legacy of Kain game might - just might be in the works. I love those games, and considering the story's still unfinished...
