I can't see where I've posted this so am assuming that I haven't...it's an interview that Robin did back in June (2012) in conjunction with the Hungarian release of 'Ship of Magic'. You may especially enjoy this, finella?

Although I prefer reading the originals now, I was first hooked because of the very careful and benigned translation of the Farseer trilogy. That translator did a great job in my eyes. She translated with so much love and joy for Robin's writing. One could really feel the pleasure, she had with the story and her characters.

Note:
when 'thul write in all italics, it is the lord of the three realms within 'thul speaking. A fairly egoistical, but also somewhat simple-minded dragon. Do not take such posts at face value.

Yes indeed! I specially liked the passage, in which she described how they created her new synonym Robin Hobb. "The first robin of spring ..." - very nice !

Thanks to a tip from our Blood Memories friends' Facebook page, please note down April 16th as the date for another upcoming session with Robin on reddit. It is to be an "Ask Me Anything" session so sounds like a must for us all!
