Going to work only to find a patient on the ward called Eda. Tangles and knots occupied my mind most of that day

All of the above and more! Work really got in the way of my reading enjoyment. I took my book with me so I could read it on the bus and then on my break and felt really resentful if someone else was on break with me! Day off yesterday but I had to go out...I practically ran around doing my errands so I could get back to the book! It's not good really is it, this obsession.

Back on topic...

...when you get to filing sheets of schoolwork now that all core work for the year is completed but find you must fight the impulse to digress onto theories about Abominations when you come across an 'Other' tab, following 'SOSE', 'Arts', 'Science' etc...

...when you're drafting cattle in the yards and call up your wife on the two-way to tell her that you've just drafted of a couple of cows that look like they've come from the Rain Wilds (because they have fluid under the skin on their heads and thus look strange and bumpy)... This one was my husband!

...when you suddenly realise one day that Fitz and Fool's 'forehead thing' that they have going on together is the same thing that you and your husband have going on...

...when others in the forums are chatting about Pan's Labyrinth and all you can think of when you read of it is Time's Labyrinth within Cassarick, and you make it your goal for the day to get back to that post you've been meaning to write about it...!

...realise almost an hour too late that you have missed a VERY important teleconference because you were too busy trying to back up your way-out RotE theories by finding references in the books!
