This is just a test post as I have been making posts but they are not posting to the site for some reason...
Okay, I am now trying this for the third time, and have some posts from yesterday to re-do. Anyone else having troubles?

As for apologies to the mods, well, one of them brought the discussion here
so apologies to Mervi, the other mod. Still, it all just had to be said...again! 
I'm yet to dig into the text but here's a link to the 'Items' page within the wiki and in it you will see the link to Chivalry's Earring. There was only this for the physical description:
Will see what else I can dig up as possibly I am picturing the entire thing incorrectly.
