As a veggie, it doesn't really appeal to me, but I should imagine for the carnivores it would be a right royal knees up!

I love meat but I wouldn't be able to stomach the menu...ERK!...as I said to the Newsgroup when I shared the link over there, "I'd rather eat pink sugar cakes and apricot brandy!"

They had a bunch of Food Trucks around NYC and LA when Season 1 was being premiered... selling (or giving out) Game of Thrones "fare." I wished I had been closer to one of those cities.

Seriously!? I think Martin is more skilled with words when describing food than any other Author I've read. And most of the food he describes sounds SO delicious! I had a completely different experience than you during those scenes, I suppose.

Oh he's skilled at writing about it alright, it's the menus themselves that make me gip! They offend my sensibilities!

Apparently, sack is a strong, dry, sweet, light-colored wine of the sherry family.

Interesting to note that many recipes have "gone missing" off the site, as they will be included in an official GoT cookbook due out in May. I know what my sister is getting for Christmas this year!
