Valarya, just to show you that I, too, once thought it shocking to cause damage to books...have changed my tune since this post but have only ever done it to my 'research' copies of my RotE books, haha!

This thread makes me want to take pictures of my most favorite bookmarks. But typically, I just use whatever piece of paper is laying around closest to me, haha. My current bookmark is a 50th bday party invitation for next week. Even though I have several beautifully awesome bookmarks sitting on my bookshelf.
