Who said it? To whom? In reference to what? AND in what book? Big Grin

Just looked up the word to clutter. It reminded me of the Narcheska when she says that she doesn't want this farmer-king to clutter her whomb with little farmers. This passage always makes me laugh Smiling

But well, I don't have a further clue, yet. I think it's an "austere" talk between maybe Regal and King Shrewd. Regal probably says it to make Shrewd kill Fitz because he is a bad example. But he doesn't know that Shrewd is working quite close with his bastard-brother Chade... Something like this? Would be probably the first book than and Fitz is maybe underneath the table, eating leftovers?

I suppose I'll try, lol. Since we have everything in the 'new' version answered and up-to-date, I'll start counting with my latest quote @ 1... and I'm bringing back the old #14 that drove Farseer so nuts since no one ever solved it and I came upon it last night!!! Big Grin

On the quote:One of the Farseer books. probably some of the "bad" guys. Perhaps Regal?
[/quote]

Oh come now, thul beings... I re-read this whole thread and saw how brutal you were for specifics. I'll only tell you "Nope, that's not it." for now.

Hahah, that bit from the Narcheska always makes me laugh, too!! But no, sorry. Down That's not it.

Good guess, but nope! Big Grin You were closer on books than 'thul was, though.

Still up for grabs:

Is it right that it's the last book of TM? I think I just read it some weeks ago - and I was finishing the TM about Christmas time...
I think it's something with Fitz and the Fool or Fitz or the Fool... probably Fitz is handing the Fool the final piece of a puzzle without knowing it, as he is the changer, but I'm not sure...

Your guess on #2 is incorrect, Brashen.

on #1: It was correct in that it was in the Farseer books, right?

Note:
when 'thul write in all italics, it is the lord of the three realms within 'thul speaking. A fairly egoistical, but also somewhat simple-minded dragon. Do not take such posts at face value.

Yes, quote #1 is in the Farseer books.

thul beings, I had read somewhere in this thread that you had forgotten the answer to some of your posted quotes. Since you remember 14, half of me wants to answer it because I know I have it. The other half of me wants to sit and watch everyone else try to figure it out, hahah.

Leave it to the others to answer. These beings will think on the quote till later. perhaps tomorrow if they decide to find a tree to sleep under instead of a bed to sleep on.

#1 is Verity in AA and he speaks to Jason about Fitz, when he saw him the first time in mooneye.
And #2... hmmmm.... maybe it's Chade?

Clapping Good job, Selene!!! That is exactly right. I'm going to have to say you looked that up else you have a SPECTACULAR memory to remember the name of the guard (Jason), hahah. P

Quick jump in...I believe it's Verity in Assassin's Apprentice when Fitz was first taken to Moonseye. He was speaking to the guard...ah, what was his name? Jason? I think that's it as I have a family member with the same name. This was just before Fitz was taken to be given to Burrich...
Doh! That's what happens when you leave the window open and go and serve the men their bacon and egg breakfast...someone jumps in and gives the answer...too slow Farseer!

Aren't you all supposed to be in bed by now?! P It's nearly 6:30am here...

I'm currently sitting at work. Dodgy It's 2:34pm on Tuesday afternoon - 2/14/2012 P

I'm just amazed that two of you remembered the guards name. I thought that one would be more difficult!

What, no guess at the one that was bugging you for ages, Farseer? Stirring Big Grin
